The 101'ers - Keys To Your Heart

On this date in 1976, The 101'ers released their one and only single (while still a band). The A side was "Keys To Your Heart". The B side was "5 Star Rock 'N' Roll Petrol". The group did not release an album while together but a posthumous album called Elgin Avenue Breakdown was released in 1981. The group's last two gigs were in support of The Sex Pistols.

The lead singer/guitarist was Woody Mellor. He would change his name to Joe Strummer when he joined the Clash.
